About FOPRO
Focus Projects and Research Organisation (FOPRO) is a research institution dedicated to the development and execution of healthcare projects, health-related research, andthe provision of consultancy services in Kenya and other East and Central African regions. We design and conduct internationally benchmarked research and are staffed by a group of investigators who are internationally renowned in their fields of specialization to lead the various research agendas within their portfolio. FOPRO partners with government entities, NGOs, and private institutions to conduct impactful research that would lead to improvement in healthcare delivery.
FOPRO has executed several projects to date including a baseline evaluation of the Kenya National Guidelines for Cardiovascular Disease Management in partnership with Kenya Cardiac Society; Developing the Kenya National Framework for Establishment and Management of NCD patient support groups in partnership with NCD Alliance Kenya; Running the Discover CareMe Global Registry Real-world data on patient management and quality of care in Kenya in partnership with Astra Zeneca; Executing the research aspects of the integrating Diabetes and Hypertension Prevention and control into primary healthcare in Kenya, a national project funded by World Diabetes Federation through Diabetes Management Information center.
